A COUNTRY girl who is standing by “freeing the nipple” has not taken being accused of “sexualizing” horse riding lightly.
Rather, she’s setting people straight, trying to redirect their attention to more important matters such as normalizing “freeing the nip.”
“And yet again people are kicking off about nipples,” the beautiful brunette, Erin Williams (@erinwilliams_1), who is a dressage rider for GB, began in a TikTok video.
Her blonde friend who stood at her side chimed in: “Girls have boobs, boys have boobs, everybody has nipples.”
The brunette strengthened her friend’s point: “Animals have nipples.”
“Yeah so, does everyone just wanna chill?” her friend questioned.
“Grow up,” Erin chimed in.
Erin then explained exactly what went down in a previous video that stirred up some controversy.
“We posted the offending video on my business page @blackheartequestrian, and funny enough it’s actually women going ‘you’re sexualizing the sport’.
“Unfollow, okay? Unfollow us. We don’t want sexist, awful, judgemental people anyway.”
“See ya,” her friend sassily said, signing off the video.
“Hashtag free the nip and get a grip,” Erin wrote in her caption, driving her stance home.
The video in question, in which Erin and her friend were apparently sexualizing horse riding, showed the brunette and blonde modeling their fits around the horse-riding arena.
They both strutted down the brick-covered ground, showing off their long sleeve form-fitting bodysuits in the colors mauve and damson.
Their nipples were visible through the fabric.
“Damson and mauve never looked so good,” Erin wrote in the caption.
People commented on Erin’s new video immediately coming to her and her friend’s defense.
“As a male rider, I never notice. The suspicious bright green stains and interesting smells coming from other riders are far, far more distracting,” one man wrote.
“I didn’t even realize until someone pointed it out,” a second viewer added.
“Honestly you don’t deserve the hate! I see soooooo many Twitter and Instagram and YouTube videos with them showing. It’s the same as seeing an elbow through a jacket?” a third wrote.
And another person wanted to know “why are they even looking, it doesn’t effect them in any way.”
Making a bit of a joke, a final person seemed awe-struck by the girls and wanted to discuss the matter in person.
“I would like to buy the two of you a drink to discuss this further. Let me know when you are in Vegas,” they wrote.
