ANT and Dec have revealed the hilarious prank they played on the BGT judges as Bruno Tonioli joins the panel.
The former Strictly star, 67, will make his debut this Saturday when the ITV variety show returns.
He replaces comedian David Walliams who departed the show after a decade on the panel.
And now Ant and Dec, both 47, have revealed they pranked the judges following Bruno’s arrival.
The Geordie duo went into the judges’ room during the auditions and had them take part in a BGT quiz.
However, unbeknownst to Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, Bruno had been given all of the answers in advance.
“That was quite fun to see the look on everyone else’s face,” said the pair.
Ant continued: “Much to Simon’s annoyance that somebody else would win a quiz about his show.
“He quickly worked out it was a prank and didn’t like it! But we loved it.”
Meanwhile, the boys have given their given verdict on Bruno Tonioli replacing David Walliams.
The pair revealed he “brings great energy” and “really knows his stuff”.
Ant, 47, said: “Bruno knows a lot about music and gives very good notes to acts when they come on.
“We’ve only ever seen him judge dance before, so he has a wider range than people might think.”
While Dec, 47, added: “He’s been around the entertainment industry for a long time, so he’s not short on experience.
“He’s very knowledgeable about talent and obviously very passionate as well. There was a lot of standing up and shouts of ‘Daaaahhhling’!”
