Ajit Pawar, the leader of the Maharashtra opposition, contradicted his uncle and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar's stance on EVMs being misused. While Sharad Pawar had organised a meeting with top opposition parties to address concerns of EVMs being susceptible to manipulation, Ajit Pawar criticised the claim, saying that people only blame EVMs when they lose.
