French President Emmanuel Macron, accompanied by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, will visit China from April 5 to 7 to meet with the Asian giant's head of state, Xi Jinping, and focus on developing future bilateral relations, as well as ties between China and the EU, and swap views on international and regional issues.
