Salina, Kan. – The Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes have now won eight straight games with a 12-2 win today (Apr. 2) over the Friends University Falcons to finish off the series sweep in Salina, Kan.
The Falcons once again broke out on top first on an RBI single by Niquan Benjamin (SO/US Virgin Islands) that plated Buster Hardman (JR/American Fork, Utah) in the top of the first.
It stayed 1-0 until the Coyotes exploded for five in the third behind a two-run double by Kendall Foster and a two-run homer from Zack Beatty.
A sacrifice fly by Oliver Dunn (SO/Endeavour Hills, Australia) in the fourth put the Falcons back on the board, but a solo homer by Haydn Brown and two-run blasts from both Foster and Cruz Oxford to put it away.
Benjamin went 2-of-3 for the Falcons (15-18, 9-10 KCAC), while the Coyotes got four RBIs from Foster and three runs driven in from Oxford.
