A touring production of the hit musical Aladdin opens at the National Arts Centre next week. Adapted from the animated 1992 Disney film, which won the Oscar for best original score and yielded the Peabo Bryson-Regina Belle chart-topping song, A Whole New World, the tale revolves around a magic lamp and three wishes, brought to the stage with illusions, comedy, romance, music and a grand sense of spectacle.
