Hollyoaks star Jorgie Porter returns to work two months after giving birth
HOLLYOAKS star Jorgie Porter has returned to work two months after welcoming her first child.
The actress took to her Instagram to reveal she had gone quiet on social media after “getting back to it”.
New mum Jorgie, 35, gave birth to her adorable little boy, Forest, last November – and is already back to work.
The actress, who is best known for playing Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks, posed with her baby son in a series of snaps.
She looked glam in a pink mini dress, black tights and black boots as she smiled wide for the camera.
The new mum glammed up with make-up as she let her blonde locks flow down, as she sat in a show showroom.
Jorgie snuggled her son as she posed for a series of photos at work, as they appeared behind-the-scenes of a fashion deal.
“So I’ve been a little quieter this week because l’m back at it,” she wrote. “First project since the little man arrived.
“Not gunna lie, I was a little worried before I started this, wondering if this was the right time, but honestly l’ve loved it!
“Lucky enough to be able to bring Forest along for the ride (with help obvs) and he’s been a dream.
“A few emergency pit stop feeds, but overall he loved it too.”
Jorgie then took to her Instagram stories to pose for a video, where she was seen getting her hair and make-up done.
It comes after Jorgie called on her fans for advice last month as she feared her son would go hungry without her.
The actress shared a candid breastfeeding post in which she revealed she needed to leave the two month old with her mum for a few hours but was terrified of not pumping enough milk.
Jorgie, who plays Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks, posted a photo of Forest sleeping on her chest, and showed fans her breast pump.
She told them: “Todays challenge… trying to pump so my mum can look after Forest for a few hours.
“Breastfeeding is amazing and I consider myself lucky that I haven’t had many challenges so far.
“I’m starting to need to leave Forest for a few hours and honestly feel like I need a degree to figure this out.
“Apart from not knowing ‘when’ the best time is to pump is, whilst making sure he’s getting what he needs now and pumping the ‘right’ amount for later… sometimes after all the faff I’m then struggling to pump a drop at all.”
She ended her post by asking: “So genuinely if anyone has any tips I’d love to know and for anyone who feels like me save this post and hopefully some lovely Instagram fairies will come up with some answers to help us in the comments.”
Dozens of mums came to her aid and posted their own experiences and solutions.
