If I Am Being Honest – Rangers Legend Comments On Title Chances

 

Michael Beale is yet to lose a game since taking charge of Rangers towards the end of last year and has only dropped points in one league game, a draw against Celtic.

 

But they are still nine points behind a rampaging Celtic side who are motoring along towards retaining their Scottish Premiership title this season.

 

 

With 13 league games left in the season, the window for Rangers to get back in the title race is diminishing and the Old Firm games are turning out to be must-win encounters for Beale’s side.

 

Ferguson stressed the importance of Rangers continuing to win their games in order to remain on the coattails of the league leaders.

 

 

However, he conceded that he does not see Celtic dropping enough points for his former side to wrestle back the initiative in the title race.

 

The Rangers legend said on the Go Radio Football Show: “It is going to be a tough ask for Rangers.

 

 

“You have got to, first and foremost, do your job and continue winning and hope that Celtic do drop some points.

 

“But if I am being honest with you, having watched them in the last couple of games, it doesn’t look like it.”

 

Rangers will be in fifth round Scottish Cup action on Sunday when they take on Partick Thistle.
