Damar Hamlin's Family Speaks Out After His Mid-Game Medical Emergency

The family of NFL player Damar Hamlin is speaking out after he collapsed on the field in the middle of the Monday Night Football game.

The Buffalo Bills player was treated on the field immediately after taking a hit. He reportedly had CPR performed by a medical professional before being rushed to the hospital.

The game between the Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals was called off amid the medical emergency and it will not be resumed this week.

Damar, 24, suffered cardiac arrest and his rep released a statement this morning. Now, the player’s family is also speaking out.

Fans of the football player have raised millions of dollars for charity in his name in the hours since the incident.
