Saffron Barker heartbroken as brother, 27, nearly dies over Christmas in major health scare
SAFFRON Barker’s older brother was rushed to hospital on Thursday after suffering a near fatal heart attack.
Casey, 27, who is also a social media star, revealed he made it “just in time”, as a devastated Saffron begged her followers to wish him well.
The Strictly star, 22, shared a picture of Casey in his hospital bed and wrote: “Rest up big bro. Please send all your love to Casey Barker, yesterday he suffered a major heart attack, we are so lucky he is still here with us. Love you Case.”
Casey, who is a father of three, managed to update fans telling them: “Not the way I hoped/ expected to end 2022 but grateful I even get to see 2023.
“Yesterday I had a heart attack whilst home with Nicole and the kids, rushed into hospital and made it just in time to prevent it being fatal.”
He added: “I’m feeling much better and resting up in hospital.”
Casey has over 300k followers on Instagram and has kids Harlow, Lake and Remi with partner Nicole.
His followers rushed to wish him well following the news and he vowed to update them when he could.
Saffron is known for being incredibly close to her family, who often appear alongside her in videos.
The Brighton born star shot to fame through her popular videos on the social media platform and is known for In My Day with Saffron Barker.
Saffron also has her own clothing line at Primark, as well as numerous other big money brand deals.
She joined Strictly 2019, and was partnered with AJ Pritchard, which led to further TV work.
