Nick Cannon Welcomes Daughter Halo Marie, His 12th Child & Second With Alyssa Scott One Year After Their Son Zen Tragically Died
Nick Cannon is a dad for the 12th time over!
The 42-year-old father to many welcomed his second child with Alyssa Scott, a daughter named Halo Marie, on December 14.
Alyssa confirmed the happy news in an emotional post on Instagram, noting that Halo‘s birth was shortly after the one-year anniversary of the death of the couple’s first child Zen.
He tragically passed away at 5 months after suffering a brain tumor last December.
The proud mother’s announcement post makes it clear that her son will always be in her thoughts.

“December 14 2022. Our lives are forever changed,” Alyssa wrote alongside a video documenting her new daughter’s arrival and Zen‘s heartbreaking death.
“Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs everyday,” she said of her son.
“I will hold onto this memory forever. I will remember the sound of Nicks[sic] voice saying ‘it’s a girl’ and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon,” Alyssa added.
