Harry Kane posts positive message on social media ahead of Brentford match
Harry Kane has taken to social media to issue a message insisting he is ‘re-set and ready to go again’ ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Brentford.
The forward returned to training at Hotspur Way on Wednesday following his involvement with England at the World Cup which was tinged with disappointment.
Kane had put England level with France early in the second half of their quarter-final clash in Qatar from the 12-yard spot, but a second attempt to equalise from a penalty sailed far over the crossbar, resulting in the Three Lions crashing out of the tournament.
The 29-year-old revealed on Twitter that he is fully ready to take to the field once again with Spurs set to make the short trip across London to face Brentford on Boxing Day.
Kane heads into the match having 13 goals in 22 competitions for Tottenham before the season was halted due to the World Cup (transfermarkt).

Tottenham fans will be hoping that Kane can hit the ground running at Brentford and help put the heartbreak in Qatar behind him sooner rather than later, hopefully, he receives a warm welcome from both sets of fans – something which even the Spurs support greeted Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka with following his penalty miss at the Euros.
