The Kanpur Boat Club is a facility that was inaugurated by the Yogi Adityanath government in India. The club will be open to the public from December 24, after completing the arrangements for security, entertainment, and other amenities. The divisional commissioner of Rajasthan, Shekhar, told the media that the boat club was proposed by Neeraj Srivastava, the secretary of the boat club, in 2006 but the scheme was not funded then. However, it became possible in 2015 after it was decided to finance the project from the funds of the Kanpur Development Authority and the construction work started in 2016. The district administration, Kanpur Development Authority, irrigation department, and the national water sports committee all helped to make the project a reality. The rates for the club have been fixed for 6 months, and will be reviewed again after 6 months. The Sunrise visit time in summers will be from 5am to 8am, and the Sunset and night tour time will be from 4pm to 10pm. Morning walkers can pay a monthly fee of Rs 600, and the club will be open from 9am to 4pm with an entry fee of Rs 80 for two hours. After which an additional fee of Rs 50 per hour will be
