Margot Robbie Embraces Regencycore Trends in Ruffled Yellow Blouse, Palazzo Pants & Brown Platform Boots for ‘Kelly Clarkson Show’
Margot Robbie embodied warm, yellow hues while on a recent episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” which airs Jan. 2, 2023.
Outfitted in an Ulla Johnson pastel blouse from the designer’s pre-fall 2023 collection, fashion stylist Kate Young contrasted the color with dark brown platform boots.
Robbie’s retro aesthetic was complemented by autumnal details. She opted for a burgundy-hued manicure, gold and brown bracelets and a mauve lip.
From the blouse’s buttoned-up Peter Pan collar to the ruffled delicacies that fell along the center hem of the blouse, the blouse had accents that pointed to summer’s Regencycore trend.
The “Wolf of Wall Street” star has been promoting her latest film, “Babylon,” and for her sit down with Clarkson, she coordinated palazzo pants with platform boots that rose at least 2 inches in height.
Robbie is set to star as a 1920s gazelle in “Babylon,” costumed by Mary Zophres and directed by Damien Chazelle. Her costars include Brad Pitt, Li Jun Li, Tobey Maguire, Samara Weaving, Olivia Wilde and more.
Throughout the “Babylon” press tour, Robbie’s wardrobe and footwear has shuffled through the eras. Fortunately, the brown hue were a part of each. Take the ’60s-inspired ensemble she wore to the films post-screening Q&A on Dec. 13, accented by a unique brown T-strap pump.
Soaring platforms that around 6 inches high are amongst her shoe repertoire as well. At the The Hollywood Reporter‘s Women in Entertainment Gala, she slipped on a pair of black peep-toe platform heels.
