Readers of German newspaper Die Welt have lashed out at European authorities over the ninth package of sanctions against Russia.
According to many commentators, the belief in the effectiveness of the anti-Russian measures is rapidly weakening due to the social difficulties in Europe itself.
“This can hardly be surpassed in terms of megalomania and ridiculousness. The previous sanctions have done little or no harm to Russia.
