Harry and Meghan drop final episodes of documentary on Netflix

The second part of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s long-awaited documentary has arrived.

Netflix dropped the last three episodes of the show at 8am today, much to the excitement of fans.

From trailers released across the past week, the new offering looks set to be explosive.

It will document the couple’s decision to step back as senior royals back in 2020.

In one clip, the Duke of Sussex is seen alleging ‘they were happy to lie to protect my brother, but never willing to tell the truth to protect us’.

He also says he witnessed ‘institutional gaslighting’, before it’s claimed ‘they were actively recruiting people to disseminate disinformation’.

Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex said she ‘wasn’t thrown to the wolves, she was fed to the wolves’.

In a second trailer, Meghan went on to claim the Palace waged war against her to block stories about other royals.

Her friend Lucy Fraser claims a ‘war’ was waged against the former actress who allegedly became a ‘scapegoat for the palace’.

‘They would feed stories on her whether they were true or not to avoid other less favourable stories being printed,’ she added.

It then cuts to Meghan being interviewed, and she adds: ‘You would see it play out.

‘A story about someone in the family would pop up for a minute, and they’d go, “We gotta make that go away.”

‘But there’s real estate on a website homepage, there is real estate on a newspaper front cover, and something has to be filled in there about someone royal.’

The first half of the show saw the parents-of-two share their love story and speak out on their difficult relationship with the press.

Harry claimed that royal men are tempted to ‘marry someone who fits the mould’, rather than for love, and said his wife ‘doesn’t have a father’.

Meanwhile, Meghan revealed the ‘formality’ of the Royal Family often continues behind closed doors and said ‘salacious’ stories were ‘planted’ in the press in the lead-up to her wedding.

Buckingham Palace has so far declined to comment on the controversial series.

The Royal Family has maintained a keep-calm-and-carry-on attitude and will be out in force tonight at a carol concert that will pay tribute to the late Queen.

The Princess of Wales will host the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, with the King, the Queen Consort, the Prince of Wales and other senior royals showing up to offer support.
