I got 20 pairs of cut-price posh boxers, I’m trolled for getting so many but it’s my husband’s Christmas present sorted
MANY partners know how difficult it can be to track down the perfect Christmas present for their other half.
So when one woman spotted a posh pair of bargain boxers to buy her husband this festive season, she decided to go wild and buy 20 of them.
Since, she’s been trolled by fellow shoppers who say she’s selfish for taking so many from the shelves.
But the woman is standing firm and said that she’d do it again as she knows her husband will be happy with them.
The lady posted news of her bargain buy on Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
She revealed: “Thanks to whoever posted about the Paul Smith boxers from Selfridges.
“Just picked up 20 pairs of boxers for £18, including delivery.
“That’s the husband’s Xmas present sorted and we weren’t even doing presents.”
However, not everyone was as happy as she was with her money-saving gift as it meant they had less chance of getting their hands on some.
One wrote underneath the post: “The amount of people having a tantrum at the fact she got 20 pairs of boxers.”
The woman later edited her post to address the trolling situation and defend herself.
She clarified: “Please note, I have said 20 PAIRS and not 20 PACKS.
“Getting abuse now just for ordering boxers.”
Others also came to her rescue, as they slammed the haters for their cruel words and said they’d do exactly the same in the woman’s position.
One said: “Well done you. I’m sick of people moaning.
“If I see it and it’s a bargain, I’m having it.”
A second wrote: “OMG they’re boxers, why do people get so upset?
“If you want some, go and get them. If there’s none left, you were too late to deal.
“Well done on your bargain.”
While a third simply stated: “You can buy as many as you want, don’t apologise.
“People need to stop being so judgmental!”
