Today's Game Asheville
Got to be there in person. Here's what I saw.
Mike handling the ball a lot. Got ripped and stripped a few times. He'll learn from it. Great dimes. Great cross court awareness and passes to open shooters.
We are overpassing at times and some guys thinking too much. First half was actually ugly in parts. Why? TURNOVER BUG.
Daron has the bug. Mike occasionally. Tou one or two giveaways. Some guys not protecting the ball.
Amzil and Brea solid second halves. Brea shooting release is quick and sweet!t he's gotta a great jab step fake to to give himself room too. A - for his overall game today. Impressive!
Tou and Daron hooked up several times. Interior passing.
Blakeny VERY quick hands. Made several steals and deflections. Nice game overall today.
Mike shot still struggling some. I'm not that worried.
While Daron scored on a bunch of lobs and passes I don't think he had a great game. He's looking not set, shifting his foot and throwing up sloppy shots. His blocks were outstanding. And boards.
Amzil a little lazy and lost in the 1st half. He doesn't run to get to his spots in the offense. His d was okay. His second half much better. I'll give him a B overall.
He can't be getting lost or uninvolved if we are to succeed in the A10
Our OVERALL D was stifling to them. However they were shorter, couldn't hit crap and had trouble penetrating.
Overall pretty good game. And just wonderful to see the offense get rolling!
