Why Doesn't Britney Spears Attend Events With Sam Asghari? Pop Star's Husband Opens Up About Their Relationship & Her Social Media Accounts As She Returns From Break
Britney Spears is back on Instagram, and Sam Asghari has something to say about it.
The 41-year-old “…Baby One More Time” hitmaker took a break from the platform earlier this week amid questions about if she was actually in charge of her account. She returned to the platform on Thursday (December 8) with a post about people talking behind her back and a message of love for her fans.
Meanwhile, Sam took to his Instagram story to comment on her break and to answer some questions about his relationship with the pop star.

Sam started by commenting on Britney‘s time off the social media platform: “Social media can be traumatizing,” he wrote. “Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman. I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all times. Thank you to all of her protective fans.”
He added that he doesn’t post her on his account without permission.
The model and actor also revealed why he often attends events without Britney. The short answer is because she isn’t interested in attending them.
“For my job I have to attend many events. It would be my honor if she joins. For her those things are not fun,” he explained. “They’re hectic and full of stress.”
He noted that “she already slayed every single [event] she has been to.”
Sam included a message to Britney‘s fans, asking for support and respect.
“I’ve always respected and supported her privacy with everything I’ve had,” he wrote. “I ask of you supportive and protective fans to do the same.”
“Sometimes being over protective can cause more stress and damage,” he signed off with in a final note.
If you missed it, Sam also debunked claims that Britney isn’t in charge of her social media in his tribute to the star for her birthday. Questions arose after she made a post about her sister Jamie Lynn Spears.
