Coronation Street spoilers: Spider Nugent makes a shocking discovery
UNDERCOVER police officer Spider Nugent has been on to Griff Reynolds for months.
The copper played by Martin Hancock makes a shocking discovery about the dodgy activist next week in Coronation Street.
Spider made an explosive comeback and even managed to rekindle his relationship with Toyah Battersby earlier this year.
But after it was revealed he was still married, it became clear he was also keeping his true profession a secret from everyone in the cobbles.
The character has been keeping an eye on the racist thug portrayed by Michael Condron.
Next week on ITV, Spider’s uneasy when he learns that Griff has decided to invite troubled teen Max Turner (Paddy Bever) on a team camping trip.
Griff took Max under his wing in the midst of a harrowing radicalisation storyline and managed to get him on board with his extremist gang’s activities.
Meanwhile, Spider does some digging into the identity of Griff’s financial backer and he soon discovers who really is the benefactor.
Could it be a familiar face?
Things are set to take a nasty turn for Max in upcoming scenes of the Manchester-based drama.
The lad is horrified when his camping trip with Griff doesn’t pan out the way he had expected.
To make matters worse, Griff wants Max to lie to the police about the events that occurred and manages to convince him to go along with his plan.
Meanwhile, Spider implores Toyah (Georgia Taylor) to remain quiet about what she knows.
Toyah already landed into plenty of legal trouble earlier in 2022 when she was accused of murdering her husband Imran Habeeb.

Will Spider be able to protect her from Griff and the havoc he’s causing in Weatherfield?
The extremist made his first appearance after Spider returned to the cobbles but his racist agenda only became clear with time.
He has since been responsible for the latent fear in Weatherfield, notably stemming from Daryan’s Ofcom-worthy attack.
Griff has also instilled fear in Alya Nazir by threatening her.
He even targeted Maria Connor, who has already had to face extreme hatred online during her campaign for the council.
This time, Griff tried to stop the opening of a refugee centre.
