Encapsulated our season in one match. Moments really good and in control and moments of easy mistakes at this level. Try to look at the positives and really like a lot of what we accomplish and the men in the team, but it's just moments we are in control we cannot stay on top of the match. At 2-2 we were really good, got the lead because we were on top. Right now we give leads up so easily.
At 3-2 - changes?
Mistake right away. We know they will push and put more numbers along our backline. Go 5-4-1 and we head a ball down in the box. Not closing from the other side. Not tactics, it's giving it to them at the wrong moment. Hard to swallow(completely absolving himself of blame, don't like that)
First Spurs goal
That's a foul. Fourth official says he thinks it's a foul and VAR don't even look at it. What am I going to do? Freak out like I did at Brentford and get sent off.

Break
Good team. Improving in matches and finding ways to be good for longer stretches in matches, but lapses are vulnerable. In the end, we are still trying to find guys on top of principles when they are tired, when the opposition is good. Big focus in the break will be finding ways to win matches we are on top of. Huge test against City. Tough restart. Recharge and find a way.
Spurs right threat
We were not closing our team in the six, Coops had to step out with Kane more, which we did not want and that allowed them out to our left. Went 4-3-3 at the break. Lapses in concentration when vulnerable. Cannot have that.
How to counter lapses in concentration?
Have to get on top of it with our messages.

We do all the time. Played three formations and always about taking what they are doing, sticking with our principles, effective with what we want to do. Created more flexibility and clarity. At 2-2 we are in control because tactically we are in charge.

In general, we really like him. Mentality to improve. Intelligence high level. Does not play like a young player.
