THERE are loads of reasons your home might look dated.
But there’s one common type of light that takes the prize – so do you have one?
According to interior designer Kayla “the dreaded boob light” is the worst style you can have in your home.
She said on Instagram: “Can we all agree the to hate the dreaded boob light?
The style took over living rooms in the 1950’s and got it’s name because of it’s resemblance to well, boobs.
Insider explained: ” Through the decades, styles came and went, but one thing stayed the same: This was the cheapest option.

“If you were building a house on the cheap, your ceiling had a boob light.”
Kayla assured viewers that the outdated style is easy to replace and “transform a room when you do.”
The dated boob lights can be swapped for something more chic and modern, but the pro says to “go big or go home” if you’ve got room.
Viewers agreed that the style should be left in the past, one wrote: “Love this!! Boobs be gone!”
