I’m a good wife, but my husband makes out that I’m a monster
DEAR DEIDRE: MY husband makes out to his friends and our families that I’m a monster.
But the truth is I’m a good wife and I’d give him the last beat of my heart.
I’m 55 and he’s 51. He’s awful at times, cheating on me and disappearing for days, then blocking my calls.
He’ll return when he’s ready, and it’s fine for a while until the name-calling starts all over again.
He and his friends put me down and poke fun at me.
I want this marriage to work and I love him but I’m starting to see he’s only in it for a roof over his head and for my cooking.
