Palestinian Amb. praises Kuwait for backing Palestinian cause at int’l forums
Kuwait: Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait Rami Tahboub praised on Monday Kuwait’s position towards the Palestinian cause in international forums and its absolute denouncement of the Israeli occupation.
This came in statement for KUNA on sidelines of the opening ceremony of the 55th Palestinian heritage exhibition held at Kuwait Alumni Association in cooperation with the Palestinian embassy until the end of this week.
Tahboub affirmed Kuwait’s support towards the Palestinian people for decades noting that the government, people and leadership have always shown love, support and belief in achieving justice.
He said that this exhibition sheds light on the Palestinian heritage and handicrafts, which are a main part of the Palestinian identity, especially the Palestinian embroidery or (Al-Khalili), which was included in the list of the Palestinian human heritage at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2021.
