"Enola Holmes 2" arrives on Netflix on November 4. The sequel to the hit 2020 mystery film can be streamed with any Netflix plan.
Enola Holmes, the teenage sister of the brilliant and famous detective Sherlock Holmes, shares her family's wit and penchant for mystery. But when she tries starting her own detective agency, she is met with resistance due to her gender and age. Just as it looks like she might shut down the business, Enola comes across a missing person case that puts her sleuthing skills to the test.
Millie Bobby Brown returns to play the title character. Other cast members back for the sequel include Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, Louis Partridge, Susan Wokoma, and Adeel Akhtar. Harry Bradbeer also returns as the director.
You can watch "Enola Holmes 2" on Netflix starting November 4. Since the movie is a Netflix original, you won't be able to stream it anywhere else. Subscribers can also watch the first "Enola Holmes" movie from 2020.
Access to the movie is available with any of the service's plans, starting with Netflix Basic with ads for $7/month or Netflix Basic without ads for $10/month. Both entry-level plans offer 720p streaming quality. Though it's still a bit too early for all of the film's reviews to pour in, initial responses to "Enola Holmes 2" are looking positive. As of November 3, the fourth-wall-breaking family adventure is rated "93% Fresh" on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
Initial impressions from critics call the sequel a worthwhile follow-up to the first movie, with some even saying "Enola Holmes 2" may be the better of the two titles.
The "Enola Holmes" films are based on the young adult fiction series of the same name written by Nancy Springer. There are seven books in the series in total.
