I’M A Celebrity star Scarlette Douglas’ brother Stuart has opened up on her romance rumours with campmate Owen Warner.
The TV star, 35, is set to enter the jungle alongside other famous faces this coming weekend and she appears to be single after splitting from her musician boyfriend Lyndrik Xela.

The pair have a close bond and show families on a certain budget transforming their homes into beautiful abodes on the show they co-present on.
In an exclusive chat with The Sun, Stuart revealed whether his sister would be looking for the love on the show, and shared: “That’s quite funny because me and my brother, we are the gatekeepers, basically. So it doesn’t matter.
“We have to be happy with any choice of partner, and Scarlett will tell you herself, that’s the one thing she’s always worried about growing up is ‘Oh, I hope my brothers like my partner or my boyfriend.’

“So we tend to have a say, would I say? If it is what it is- You’re going out there, I don’t know the other competitors, I don’t know if anybody out there will find love. Only time will tell!”
He hastened to add: “I think Scarlette is going out there to learn more about herself, her being in the jungle for sure. As for any blossoming romance, listen, I’ll be watching it just like you. I’ll be probably watching it with more scrutiny than anybody else just to see exactly what’s going on!”
It comes as fellow campmate and Hollyoaks star Owen Warner admitted he’s “always looking for love.”
The soap star, 23, who plays Romeo Nightingale in Hollyoaks, has previously been linked with his soap co-stars, celebrity make-up artists, Apprentice stars and Geordie Shore favourites.
Now a jungle romance at the levels of Katie Price and Peter Andre‘s 2004 love story could well be on the cards for Owen.
Asked by I’m A Celeb bosses if he would like to find love under the jungle stars, Owen said: “I don’t have a partner, I am always looking for love!”
Meanwhile, as he walked through arrivals at Brisbane airport, he emphasised: “I’m single and looking for love.”
There is one man Scarlette has admitted to having her eye on though.
The host, who quit her job hosting A Place in the Sun in August after seven years to focus on a new property series, admitted that funnyman Mo Gilligan is her dream campmate.
The presenter said: “Mo Gilligan. He is hilarious and I totally fancy him.”
Scarlette admitted she would love it if he were to enter the jungle – but to be able to create a lovely bond with all the campmates is what Scarlette is most looking forward to.
