ALEX FERGUSON had fans all saying the same thing as he looked on top of the world on a lads’ holiday Down Under.
The Manchester United legend, 80, finally ticked one off his bucket list after attending the Melbourne Cup with good mate Ged Mason.
Fergie, 80, looked in fantastic spirits as he enjoys a lads’ holiday in Australia[/caption] The Man Utd legend was all smiles as he posed with Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Zahra[/caption]The duo, who are part of one of racing’s most powerful ownership groups, mingled alongside stunning punters at the ‘race that stops a nation’.
Fergie looked an absolute picture of health – maybe being 10,500 miles away from Old Trafford and some winter sun did him the world of good.
The footie icon – who had a brain haemorrhage in 2018 – beamed with happiness as he posed for a photo from a VIP area overlooking the track.
And he looked to be in great spirits again when grabbing a selfie with Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Mark Zahra.
Fans were absolutely loving the snaps Mason posted on his Twitter account.

Gold Trip, the 20-1 shot tipped up by Sun Racing’s Matt Chapman, scooped the £2.5million first-place prize at Flemington racecourse on Tuesday.
But Fergie and Co were celebrating a highly promising winner of their own on Wednesday at the slightly less glamorous surroundings of Chepstow.
Isaac Des Obeaux, related to Fergie’s superstar chaser Clan Des Obeaux, was a winner on debut at the Welsh track.
Trained by Paul Nicholls, the 5-2 favourite won £2,614 after triumphing in the 2m bumper.
But much, much greater riches lie in wait, especially if he turns out to be even half as good as the brilliant Clan.
In that case, expect many more photos of a beaming Sir Alex.
