'Real Housewives' Alum Alexis Bellino Reveals Son is Transgender
Alexis Bellino took to Instagram on Tuesday (October 25), where she revealed that her son, Miles, is transgender.
The 45-year-old The Real Housewives of Orange County alum said, “Hey world, this is Miles. My transgender son. He’s now a month shy of 15 yrs old, so he’s seen the questions and comments made about him on my IG. Miles now has a voice and has asked me to do this post. I had stopped posting for the past few months due to this transition in Miles’ life, but he’s now ready to “come out” and to use this platform to stop any hate or questions.”
Alexis also noted her own reservations before making the social media post.
“I refused to post this for him for a while, but now I know Miles truly wants me to post this because he’s tired of the misgendering and confusion people have, so we are setting the record straight and hopefully bringing clarity,” she said.
Alexis was married to Jim Bellino but is now engaged to boyfriend Andy Bohn and has stepped away from RHOC.
It was recently announced that there will be a new cast member for the Real Housewives of Orange County who used to star on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and recently appeared on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
