ALL parents will know that having young children and balancing a job is extremely hard.
One parent, Daisy Woods, a busy mum-of-two from Bristol, also known on social media as Muddle Through Mummy, decided to start a side hustle in social media content creation, so she could balance life with young children whilst bringing in an income.

She is a certified Positive Parenting Coach that shares a daily dose of relatable mum life content.
Not only this, but she also speaks about maternal mental health and reveals great tips on how to keep costs low – including how to make meals for under £1 per person.
Daisy has proved very popular on the video sharing platform and it’s safe to say that her side hustle has paid off – literally.

In a recent video, the mum revealed how much money she has made with her TikTok content creation work last year.
With her best month bringing in a whopping £7,605, it seems as though Daisy is absolutely smashing her side hustle.
She posted the video with the caption ‘With 16hrs childcare a week. Please know it does NOT happen overnight but perseverance pays off’.
The self-employed mum said: “What I earned this year: watch my side hustle as a content creator take over!”.
Prior to launching her side hustle as a content creator, Daisy was working as a freelance communications specialist for her brother-in-law’s company, Rocket Jack.
But eventually, her TikTok side hustle began to overtake the costs of her part-time job.

In January, the mum made just £130 with what she described as her “normal” part-time job.
In February, things were looking up, and she had made £1,225, with then £1,240 in March.
April was similar and the mum had earned £1,090.
Up until April, the mum had not earned any money with her TikTok side hustle, but by May, she had started earning – albeit small, but she had earned £75 as a content creator, and £900 with her normal part-time job.
June was pretty similar for the mum, she earned £70 as a content creator and £960 with her part-time job.
But by July, things had really ramped up and while she had earnt £1,040 in her part-time job, she had also made £790 as a content creator.
August took a slight dip and the mum-of-two had earnt £840 with her part-time job, but just £280 with content creation.
However, by September, things really started to look up, and while the mum had made £400 with her part-time job, she had made a whopping £2,650 as a content creator.
By October, the mum didn’t make a penny with her part-time job and instead earnt £2,640 with her side hustle.
The money she was earning as a content creator continued to go up and while she had earnt £200 in November with her part-time job, she made £4,930 as a content creator.
And to finish the year on a high, she made a huge £7,605 as a content creator in December.

TikTok users were very impressed with Daisy’s video and it has racked up 9,622 likes, 85 comments and 39 shares.
One person said: “Wow, go you!!”
Another added: “Ok this has just made me want to work so hard to push social media this year and earn an income from it!” to which Daisy replied “Go girl!”

One user asked: “Can I ask, is this content creator income just from tik tok or multiple platforms?” to which Daisy confirmed “Just tiktok, I’ve done one instagram project but it was a very small amount”.
Another questioned: “Do you make the money from the creator fund or brand deals?” to which Daisy said “Both”.
