iPhone maker Foxconn has ambitious plans to make 5% of the world's EVs by 2025.
At its annual Tech Day on Tuesday, the Taiwanese tech giant unveiled its latest 3 EVs.

Foxconn might have made its name globally as the manufacturer of Apple's iPhone, but the Taiwanese company is targeting a new future; electric vehicles.
At its annual shareholder meeting in May, chief executive Liu Young-Way had already underlined just how seriously the company takes its ambitions. He said he wanted the company to account for 5% of the global market within three years, per the Washington Post, a market equivalent to $31 billion.
The MODEL C was first unveiled as a prototype vehicle last year but is now set to go into production and will hit the road during the second half of 2023, Foxconn said, in a release.
The EV will be sold by Yulon Motor under the name Luxgen n7, per The Washington Post. The five-seat SUV has a range of 440 miles. No price was revealed.
The MODEL B crossover

The concept prototype MODEL B is the "mainstream for the younger generation," Foxconn said. Primarily designed for urban use, the compact has a cruising range of 279 miles.
The crossover is based on the MODEL C platform, but has changes to its body and size, Foxconn said.

The MODEL V electric pickup

This will be the first electric pickup made in Taiwan, the company said.
The five-seat double cab EV, displayed in a metallic blue tinge, has a towing capacity of three tons. The company did not reveal details as to the range of the battery in its release.
The three vehicles are in addition to three electric vehicle prototypes announced in October 21 — The MODEL T, an electric bus, an SUV, and what was at the time, the MODEL C prototype.
