Love Island’s Indiyah slammed by furious fans as she admits going to the doctor for a broken fake nail
LOVE Island’s Indiyah Polack has been slammed by furious fans after admitting that she went to the doctors for a broken fake nail.
The reality star, 24, needed medical attention after snapping one of her acrylics off her nail bed.
Indiyah, who shot to fame on this year’s series of the ITV2 dating show, was in so much pain that she needed someone to help her.
Indiyah tweeted: “Maybe I am dramatic for going to doctors for a broken acrylic, the nurse put a plaster on it and sent me home,” and a skull emoji.
But many weren’t impressed with her decision.
One said: “And THIS is why our NHS Is so back logged.”

“Not u wasting the NHS time smh,” a second added.
A third chimed in: “Girl I’m dramatic af but this is so unserious.”
However others completely understood the pain that she was in.
Another replied: “those HURT! i don’t blame you but plaster??”

A fifth said: “I felt like I needed local anaesthetic when this happened. My nail tech just glued it back.”
“Omg the pain I broke mines down the middle,” a sixth wrote.
This isn’t the first time that Indiyah has needed medical help.
Last month she revealed why medics were rushed into the Love Island villa for a very embarrassing reason – and it was never shown on screen.
During her stint in the ITV2 villa she had to switch up her preferred hair removal method – which caused her a bit of a problem at one point.
Speaking on the Saving Grace podcast, Indiyah revealed: “I got a shaving rash once and I had to call the medic. It was so itchy. I usually get a sugar wax, couldn’t get that out there, so I had to shave every day.
“One day I got a bit shaving happy – I just shaved everywhere. Even the cheeks.
“And you’re not supposed to shave the cheeks. Shave the cheeks and then within two days, literally it was so fucking itchy and rashy.
“I called the medic. She was like, ‘We’ve never had a case like this before, but we’ll help you out’.
“I thought I was going to die. I was like, ‘This really hurts. Like it’s itchy. Please can we sort it out?’ It was awful.”
