Jack Absolute Flies Again
Spazju Kreattiv is today screening a rollicking new comedy by Richard Bean (One Man, Two Guvnors) and Oliver Chris (Twelfth Night), based on Richard Brinsley Sheridan's The Rivals, in the National Theatre series.
After an aerial dog fight, Pilot Officer Jack Absolute flies home to win the heart of his old flame, Lydia Languish. Back on British soil, Jack’s advances soon turn to anarchy when the young heiress demands to be loved on her own, very particular, terms.
The play, certified 15, is directed by Emily Burns and stars Caroline Quentin, Laurie Davidson, Natalie Simpson and Kelvin Fletcher.

Opera is Gozo
The Opera is Gozo festival continues today with a concert featuring the young musicians of the La Stella Philharmonic Society at the Astra Theatre Cultural Hub, Victoria. The event is free but reservations can be made on info@lastella.com.mt.
