The Portuguese, 21, could star at this winter’s World Cup and a combination of eight goals and six assists in 12 games this season so far.
World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe reportedly pushed for Paris Saint-Germain to sign Marcus Rashford in the summer.
Rashford, 24, was linked with a move away from Old Trafford during the transfer window.
And reports suggest that Mbappe had Rashford in his four man shortlist – none of which were secured.
