CMW.it have claimed that Tottenham could turn their attentions to Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez if Harry Kane departs the club this summer.
Reports from Germany are continuing to link Kane, whose current contract at Spurs runs until 2024 (Transfermarkt), with a move to Bayern Munich next summer.
SportBild (26/09/22 – as relayed by Sport Witness) claimed earlier this week that the 29-year-old’s agent has ‘already been assured’ by the Bayern hierarchy that they will make an offer for him next summer if he does not sign a new contract with Spurs.
CMW.it have now asserted that the Bundesliga giants have a ‘firm intention’ of buying Kane and that the Tottenham man is ‘very tempted’ by a move to the Allianz Arena.
The report adds that should the England captain say goodbye to Spurs, Antonio Conte could look towards his former club and look to reunite with Martinez.
It is explained that the Nerazzurri would be open to selling the Argentine in order to balance their books, but they would demand a fee of around €70m-€80m (£62.3-£71.2m).
Spurs Web Opinion
Contrary to the speculation, I do not think either Paraitci or Conte would have made any contingency plans over the fear of losing Kane next summer.
They will likely only have those discussions if the 29-year-old stalls on a new deal until February or so. As things stand, it does not seem as if there have been any concrete talks over a contract.
