The organisation has also insisted that the Ram leelas prominently display a photograph of Lord Valmiki who is worshipped by many sections of Dalits, on the stage. This is in line with the larger sangh parivar's efforts going on for the last few years to reach out to deprived sections among Hindus, particularly SC and many OBC communities.
