SAM Faiers’ boyfriend Paul Knightly appeared to wade into the fall-out between her and former best mate Ferne McCann.
Ferne, 32, was accused of “fat shaming” Sam, 31, after a disgraceful voice note leaked.
The recording, which is thought to feature Ferne’s voice, has sent shockwaves through Essex and reignited the feud between the former pals.
Now Paul has appeared to hit back at ex-Towie star Ferne with a cryptic video posted on Instagram.
The clip features US talk show host Steve Harvey saying: “Everybody by your side, ain’t on your side.
“And then take inventory of all your friends, all your family members and you will discover there are a lot of people by your side because it benefits them.”
More on Sam Faiers
The voice on the recording is heard saying: “Sam Faiers is fat c***. Her thighs are so big and I looked really skinny today.”
The voice in the message is not confirmed to be Ferne.
Ferne’s representative has been contacted for comment, while Sam’s representative had no comment.
Earlier this week Ferne’s fiance Lorri Haines appeared to have his own say with an equally cryptic post.
Estate agent Lorri shared a quote reading: “A wise man once said, ‘Bees don’t waste their time explaining to flies why honey is better than s**t.’ Read that again.”
Yesterday Sam’s devastated mum Suzie Wells took to social media to address the audio, telling fans she could “no longer sit back and say nothing”.
Taking to social media, the 53-year-old said: “This has come as a complete shock to myself and my family.
“Ferne has always been a very close family member to all of us over the past 20 years.
“It appears the voice note was sent just weeks after Samantha gave birth back in May.”
Suzie went on: “Since the voice note has surfaced more have been sent – very upsetting nasty things.”
