RATHER than making small garments that change your shape, Aerie’s come up with options that mold to you.
Plus-size influencer and body enthusiast Bonnie Wyrick tried Aerie’s new anti-shapewear collection and couldn’t believe how much more supported she felt.
While brands like Skim are known for their shapewear, more big-name companies are moving from the concept.
Aerie‘s new Smoothez collection promises to fit your body exactly as it is instead of tightening it to be a different shape.
The Smoothez motto is: “Celebrate your body instead of flattening it.”
TikTok plus-size sensation Bonnie ordered a couple of the brand’s new items and posted a video trying them all on.

Bonnie is typically a 14/16.
She starts by trying on the $33.71 Bra-ish Wireless Bralette in the “Neon Lemon.”
This bra incorporates “floating cups” that frame your chest.
Bonnie explains how this is great for women who experience their bust size going up and down or becoming uneven over time.

She puts on the bralette in “Blue Lion” to match the $10.49 No Show XTRA High Rise Thong Underwear.
“I love this high-rise thong. It is so comfortable. I love the support, especially being a curvier girl,” Bonnie says.
Next, Bonnie changes in the $29.96 Padded Racerback Bralette.
“It’s like laying perfectly,” she admits.
And Bonnie slips into the $10.46 No Show XTRA Mid Rise Cheeky Underwear, which shows a bit more booty.
Viewers loved Bonnie’s haul and Aerie’s collection concept.
“I would sell my soul for Aerie they NEVER miss,” one excited viewer wrote.
