Thryv Holdings, Fora Financial Partner On SMB Capital Access
Thryv Holdings, which helps small-to-midsize businesses (SMBs) grow, has partnered with Fora Financial to add more ways for the businesses to access capital, a press release said.
Fora Financial will be offered through Thryv’s marketplace and let business owners apply for lending. There are numerous options such as flexible payments, early pay-off discounts and no restrictions on the use of the funds.
There will be numerous financing amounts offered from $5,000 to $750,000 without any collateral required, and the release touts less than 24 hours needed before approval happens.
“We have always been committed to helping small businesses solve a variety of needs, and in the current economic climate, helping them gain access to capital is a priority,” said Ryan Cantor, chief product officer at Thryv. “Whether it’s adding a truck to their fleet or a game-changing piece of equipment, small businesses have evolving needs and Thryv helps solve them.”
And Fora Financial president Andrew Gutman said the company was looking at the changing economy and partnering with Thryv to help companies grow and thrive.
In May of 2021, Thryv debuted a new app, ThryvPay, to let companies accept every major credit card along with ACH payments, PYMNTS reported.

“ThryvPay has been the fastest-growing payments choice within our platform. Now, for the first time, we’re making ThryvPay available as a standalone app free of charge for non-Thryv customers,” said Thryv CEO and President Joe Walsh.
ThryvPay offers a non-required connection to Plaid, alerting small business owners when funds are available for ACH payments. And Cantor said that service-based small businesses often have “particular” requirements in terms of accepting payments, so the ThryvPay app was tailored to manage paid services, accept lower-cost ACH payments, schedule recurring payments and other things.
The ACH option is optional for bigger invoices, with a maximum fee of $9 for every transaction.
