LOVE Island star Danica has opened up about her ‘romance’ with Roman Hackett – days after breaking up with Jamie Allen.
The dancer, 21, was photographed kissing Towie’s Roman on the lips while fans wondered what was going on between her and Jamie since leaving the villa.
It sparked rumours of a split, which was later found to be true – but now Danica wants to set the record straight.
Denying rumours of a love triangle between them, Danica told The Sun: “There was never anything going on romantically with Roman. We became friends after meeting on nights out and he offered to drive me to the train station.
“He surprised me with an out of the blue kiss as we said goodbye and it happened to be caught on camera.
“Everyone keeps talking about a love triangle between me him and Jamie, but it’s just not true.

“It was very early days with Jamie. We’ve got a lot going on right now – he’s doing great stuff getting back into football and I’m enjoying all the opportunities Love Island has brought me – but we’re still on good terms and I wish him all the best.”
In recent weeks Danica and footballer Jamie, 27, have kept fans guessing whether they were still dating.
But now it has since been confirmed they are the first couple from this year’s series of the ITV2 show to split.
The pair, who were last pictured together on August 13, had both remained silent about their supposed split on social media.

Danica hinted they had split days before she was seen snogging Roman when she appeared on the Secure The Insecure podcast.
The beauty, who lives in Leicester, explained the distance between them was proving difficult.
“I was on the show a lot longer. So I’ve got a couple of bits here and there. I’ve got a management that I’ve got jobs coming through.” Danica said.
“So I’ve got to kind of do my thing, and Jamie has also got to do his thing, you know, with his football and obviously catch up with friends and family.”
