Coronation Street fans terrified for Toyah Battersby as she confesses to undercover cop Spider
CORONATION Street fans fear Spider Nugent is going to betray Toyah Battersby after she confessed to murdering husband Imran Habeeb.
The counsellor – who is played by actress Georgia Taylor in the ITV soap – hit rock bottom with her grief tonight after spending time with Imran’s son Alfie.
She ran off in tears after apologising to him for taking his dad away.
Spider found her at the site of the accident and brought her home.
But in the flat, Toyah became agitated and told him: “I wanted to be in the place where Imran saved my life because I wanted to feel close to him.
“I’m scary, I’m scared of myself. You deserve to know the truth. It wasn’t an accident, I murdered Imran.
“I lied to the police, I remember exactly what happened. I crashed the car on purpose.”

“I can’t be hearing this,” said Spider as he walked out and Leanne came in.
“It’s true,” said Toyah to her shocked sister.
“It wasn’t until we were on the road that he told me he lied in court. It was like a bomb going off in my head, and when the truth came out that he confessed and that I was losing Elsie, losing the ability to adopt, and I was already losing Alfie it was like in that single heartbeat everything was gone.
“I was so angry and I was scared. I lost it, just for a split second. Just for a moment.
“And then we crashed into a building.”

Leanne tried to convince her sister that she hadn’t planned to murder Imran, so she wasn’t guilty, but Toyah couldn’t see it.
Meanwhile Spider cancelled a call from Toyah and looked shaken.
Coronation Street viewers know he is an undercover police officer and are convinced he’s going to betray Toyah at her trial.
One wrote: “Toyah, you just confessed to a undercover cop! No!”
A second said: “Toyah: It wasn’t an accident! I murdered him! I murdered Imran! Us: Noooo.”
Another added: “Toyah what have you done???”
