It’s nice to meet you; my name is Briar! I guess you could say that I’m a secret admirer; as I can be a little shy at first. That’s why I like having my friend, Aster, around. We help each other be more confident and would like to go to a home together. Once I get to know you, I’ll show you how snuggly I can be! I’ve perfected the head butt and face smoosh. Make an appointment at the East Bay SPCA, Oakland (EBSPCA), and learn more about their pets online at eastbayspca.org/adopt-me.

Wanted: Single female who loves adorable little dogs. Skip is a 4-year-old 15-pound Chihuahua/cocker spaniel mix that prefers women.
He’s a playful little guy that enjoys walks, car rides, fetching toys and lots of cuddling. He may get along with another dog but dislikes big crowds and milling feet. Spending time close to you is his favorite thing, whether it’s an evening on the couch or hanging out while you do yard work. Skip is being cared for at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS). To meet this pet, call 510-337-8565 or visit alamedaanimalshelter.org/adopt online.

There isn’t a more delightful pair of kittens than Lolly and Saffron! These girls jump at the ceiling fan, catch flies, chase balls, cuddle with dogs, love attention from their people and love each other. Community Concern for Cats’ (CC4C) weekend adoption events are from 1 to 4 p.m. both days at 1250-H Newell Ave. in Walnut Creek. We also conduct virtual adoptions, and many of our adoptable cats can be seen online at communityconcernforcats.org.

Hi, I’m Kelly. I’m very cuddly and loving, and I love to talk. I’m small for my age, (5 months), but I can do big things, like fly up the tall climbing post that’s in my house and jump down to catch a mouse. I hear my foster owner say I’m a well mannered little girl but ask if I could please stop walking over her laptop keyboard. I’ve written some pretty good stuff. Oh, and I get along with the other cats and the dog in the house. For more information about me or any other Contra Costa (CCSPCA) adoptable pets, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
