Hello Friends,

Ocean looks like a mill pond at Dee Why, otherwise conditions are pretty good. However the switch will be thrown to Southerly later and the skies will cloud over by this afternoon.

A few little south lines were showing at Curly, but the 0930 high tide was making conditions very fat and full.

We should see a bump up in the south swell overnight into the 2 metre range with periods around 9 seconds. The wind call is for southerlies from the get-go. Wednesday’s looking more hopeful with light wind to start and swell periods in the juicy 11-12 sec range along with mainly sunny skies.

Thursday should see the south energy continuing but the weather call is for cloudy and north wind, so options will be limited.

Have a great Monday everyone!

Weather Situation

Winds will turn southwesterly today as a cold front brushes the southern waters. After this, a high pressure system will slowly move east across the Bass Strait, reaching the Tasman Sea on Wednesday causing winds to ease and then turn northeasterly. During the second half of the week, northerly winds are expected to increase as a cold front and associated low approach from the west.
