A chippy owner who celebrated the Queen’s death with champagne has had her restaurant windows smashed.
Jaki Pickett’s shop in Muir of Ord, the Highlands, has been vandalised twice in 24 hours over her tasteless reaction to Her Majesty’s passing.
In a video posted on Facebook, she could be seen dancing and screaming with joy.
Holding a chalkboard that read ‘Lizard Liz Dead’ and ‘London Bridge has Fallen’ with a smiley face, Ms Pickett opens a bottle of bubbly to toast the monarch’s death.
Hours after the official announcement on Thursday, police were called to a mob outside the fish and chip takeaway over the now-deleted clip.
Footage shared online shows a large crowd booing the owner and filming her.
In a later video, Ms Pickett is seen being driven away from the scene by officers.
That same night, people pelted the store with eggs and squirted tomato ketchup on the wooden benches outside.
On Friday, the takeaway opened for just three hours before it was forced to close again as children gathered outside to sing ‘God Save the Queen’, the Scottish Sun reported.
But Ms Pickett told the Press and Journal that she has ‘no regrets’ over sharing her anti-monarchist views.
Later on, there were reports of the takeaway being attacked by people again.

A picture shared on Twitter in the early hours of this morning shows a hole in her front window.
The caption said: ‘Jaki’s chip shop smashed up again.’
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: ‘Officers received a report of damage to a property in the Seaforth Road area of Muir of Ord, which is thought to have happened between 7.30pm on Friday and 10.30am on Saturday.
‘Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.’
The video of Ms Pickett cheering at the Queen’s death was posted shortly after Buckingham Palace confirmed the news.
The shop owner was also targeted on social media, with residents review-bombing her ratings.
Many vowed to boycott the business ‘until it goes bust’.
One Twitter user wrote: ‘She probably lost everything and for what – a few likes. Madness.’
