Now through September 19, Disney Plus is offering an awesome deal to celebrate Disney Plus Day. New and eligible returning subscribers can get 75% off their first month of the streaming service, making it only $2 (rather than $8). That means access to new releases like "Thor: Love and Thunder," "Pinocchio," and "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" for only a couple of bucks.

How to get the Disney Plus Day deal

In order to get the Disney Plus deal you must be a new or returning subscriber. If you're eligible, getting Disney Plus for $2 is as simple as signing up. 

1. Head to the Disney Plus website.
2. Click "Sign Up and Save."
3. Create an account and start watching.

After your first month is up, your Disney Plus subscription will auto-renew at the normal $8 a month rate. That said, you should keep in mind that the ad-free monthly price is increasing to $11 a month starting December 8. If you'd rather cancel, you can do so at any time. 

Can existing Disney Plus members get the deal?

Unfortunately, the Disney Plus Day deal is limited to only new and returning members. 

Is Disney Plus worth subscribing to?

At only $2 for one month, we highly recommend hopping on this deal. For that low price, you can watch hot new releases like "Thor: Love and Thunder," "Pinocchio," and "Lightyear" for no additional cost. 

In the long term, Disney Plus is also very much worth subscribing to, especially for fans of Marvel content, animated films, and family programs. At $8 a month or $80 a year, it's an excellent price — but keep in mind that starting December 8, Disney Plus will be increasing its rates to $11 a month.
