REBEKAH Vardy has decided not to appeal the High Court ruling which saw her lose her Wagatha Christie legal battle with Coleen Rooney.

Becky, 40, had insisted the judge “got it wrong” but has now blown the final whistle on the saga.

It began when Wag rival Coleen, 36, sensationally accused her of leaking stories in a dramatic social media post on October 9 2019 — 1,061 days ago.

Sources estimate the final legal costs will reach £3million. Becky is likely to be hit by a £1million-plus bill after she sued for libel but the court ruled in Coleen’s favour in July.

A source last night said: “It’s all over and Becky wants to move on.

“She is extremely frustrated with lawyers and the legal process so hell would freeze over before she wanted to go back into court.

“At the moment she is enjoying being a mother, and a wife.

“She was pregnant with her youngest child when this whole thing blew up and she is two now.

“So Becky is enjoying spending time with her and her other children — and does not want another legal fight to get in the way.”

The Sun on Sunday understands Becky’s lawyers concluded last week it would be difficult to appeal the court’s verdict.

But Becky had already privately opted to avoid further action.

The War of the Wags broke out over Coleen’s bombshell accusation that stories were leaked from her private Instagram.

After turning detective by checking who she allowed access to and when, she famously wrote: “It’s………Rebekah Vardy’s account.”

Becky is still said to be “stunned” by the verdict.

Her Leicester City striker husband Jamie, 35, and Coleen’s other half, Man Utd legend Wayne, both attended court. But only Wayne, 36, gave evidence.

Mrs Justice Karen Steyn ruled Coleen’s accusation was “substantially true” and Becky’s evidence should be treated “with caution”.

Sources close to Coleen said she was “relieved and happy” to hear that Becky did not plan to appeal.
