OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney pleads not guilty to stabbing her boyfriend to death

OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney has pleaded not guilty to stabbing her boyfriend to death during an April dispute in their luxurious Miami apartment.

Clenney, 26, faces second-degree murder charges for the fatal stabbing of Christian Obumseli, her 27-year-old boyfriend of two years.

The Instagram and OnlyFans model did not appear during the brief court hearing Wednesday, but her plea was entered by her attorney, Frank Prieto, who contends Clenney was defending herself during a horrible domestic incident.

‘We’ll stand on our written pleadings to not guilty, your honor,’ Prieto said, according to Fox News.

Clenney has been held at a correctional center in Miami since Friday, after she was extradited from Hawaii and denied bond for the April 3 stabbing.

The model, who boasts over 2 million followers, had been seeking treatment for PTSD and substance abuse in Hawaii at the time of her arrest. Authorities waited over four months to charge her in Obumseli’s death.

Clenney has claimed to have thrown a kitchen knife at Obumseli from a distance while acting in self defense. However, following an autopsy, a medical examiner disputed those claims, saying it would have been impossible for the wound he sustained to have come from a knife thrown at that distance.

Investigators have also claimed that Clenney was on the phone with her mother at the time of Obumseli’s death. After hanging up and dialing 911, she was allegedly heard saying ‘I’m sorry, baby,’ to Obumseli, Fox News reported.

When police arrived on April 3 they found a bloodied Clenney holding Obumseli in a puddle of coagulated blood.

Prosecutors have argued that Clenney was the aggressor throughout the couple’s dramatic on-again-off-again two-year relationship.

Shocking surveillance footage shows the influencer repeatedly hitting Obumseli in the elevator of their apartment building. The footage, taken in February, was publicized when Clenney was first charged with second-degree murder.

Officials have not yet shared what sparked the fatal argument between Clenney and Obumseli.
