The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has received 26 applications from companies including Samsung for the telecom equipment and design production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme, senior officials said. They added that 14 companies have applied for the second leg of telecom equipment PLI while 12 applications have been received for the new design-linked manufacturing plan.
