BUYING a home with the hope of giving it a transformation is an exciting project for many people to take on.
But one couple were left open-mouthed when they bought a home at auction without ever seeing it, only to realise that it was an ex-hoarder’s house.
The pair had never seen the home and were stunned when they entered and realised not only had it been robbed, but it was an ex-hoarder’s home[/caption] The pair came across a huge safe and were stunned with what they found inside[/caption]Tiffany Ma, 28, from Los Angeles, California, and her boyfriend Matt bought the ‘worst home on the block’ and planned to transform it into a multi-million dollar listing, which they thought would be the perfect home in the heart of California.
But when the couple actually set sight on the home, they were stunned to find not only a huge safe instead, but floors covered with animal carcasses, weapons and ‘blackmail’ photos.
Not only this, but Tiffany claimed she couldn’t actually show everything she found in the 4,000-pound safe because she had to get ‘the authorities involved’.
Tiffany later revealed that the home was robbed by someone looking for ‘something specific’ and many social media users have been speculating about the owner’s sinister past, with many questioning if he was a murderer.

It turns out that the original owner of the home died without a will and the couple had to spend time sorting through items so gruesome they had to turn them over to the police.
Tiffany took to her social media to share the bizarre experience and revealed that when she saw the home for the very first time, she was instantly filled with regret.
As she walked into the home, she was met with an overwhelming scent of urine and dust.
The couple could barely walk through the hoarder’s home due to the sea of items, dirt and even dead animals covering the floor.
Tiffany revealed that her and her partner had paid the estate $20,000 to clean their fixer upper.
Not only was the home full of rubbish, there were also two large safes, one of which had been opened and ransacked.

The second safe was found in the garage and weighed over 4,000 pounds.
The pair could tell that someone had failed to open the safe at some point but didn’t think much of it until they got a revealing phone call.
The person on the other line informed the couple their dream fixer upper had been robbed just a few days before they were handed over the keys.
A few days later, a suspicious young man claiming to be the nephew of the original owner approached Tiffany and Matt and asked if he could have everything in the large safe in the garage.
In fear someone would try to rob the place again, the couple got a contractor in to open the precious safe.
The couple were stunned when they found photos of strippers, jewellery, swords, old rare coins, scrapbooks filled with pictures and even human hair.
Tiffany said: “After hours of watching the contractor grind, pick axe and hammer away at the safe, we finally got it opened and oh my god, what we actually found was insane.
“We found an engagement ring, a bunch of photos that could definitely be used as blackmail, a tonne of rare bills and old coins that are probably worth more than a Birkin, and we even found a dagger, but honestly, the craziest thing we found, I’m not even allowed to tell you guys, because we have to get the police involved.”
The couple cleaned the home but eventually decided to tear the hoarder’s home down completely and rebuild from scratch.
Tiffany’s TikTok safe reveal clearly impressed many, as it has racked up a whopping 1.7million views, 191.2k likes and 1,358 comments.
Social media users were stunned at the items found inside the home, with many speculating about the original owner’s sinister past.
One person said: “Why do those pictures of the pole dancing look like a scene out of Wolf on Wall Street.”
Another questioned: “Is there evidence of a murder!?”

A third stated: “This either was blackmail, or a stalking.”
