Police arrested a San Rafael man on suspicion of breaking into vehicles in San Rafael.
Mynor Vicente-Vicente, 20, was spotted breaking car windows with a metal rod on Mission Avenue at approximately 2 a.m. Thursday, said police Sgt. Raul Aguilar. Vicente also took items out of at least one locked car after smashing its rear window, Aguilar said.
Vicente fled, Aguilar said, but officers were able to catch up and arrest him. He was booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of burglary, vandalism, obstructing police and violating his probation conditions in a prior case. He remained there Friday in lieu of a $50,000 bail.
