Kaley Cuoco To Lead Peacock's Comedy Thriller Series 'Based on a True Story'
Kaley Cuoco is headed to Peacock!
The 36-year-old actress will be starring in a brand new comedic thriller series on the streamer, titled Based on a True Story, Deadline reports.

Written by Craig Rosenberg, Based On a True Story is inspired by a bizarre true event about a realtor, a plumber and a former tennis star whose lives unexpectedly collide, exposing America’s obsession with true crime, murder and the slow close toilet seat.
Kaley is reportedly going to play a married woman named Ava Bartlett, who is the realtor character. All other details are being kept under wraps at this time.
The new series also makes room for Kaley‘s return as Cassie in a possible third season of The Flight Attendant, if renewed.
“There has been no Season 3 pickup for The Flight Attendant yet as creator Steve Yockey is bouncing around potential ideas but it appears likely; [Kaley's] deal allows her to return to the HBO Max hit if the right premise comes along,” Deadline writes.
